SUBJECT: LCHS 9-12 PTSA: All the News You Need!

President's Message

The school year is in the final stretch!  April ended with a very successful Spring Home Tour fundraiser which benefits both the 7/8 PTA and 9-12 PTSA.  Thank you to our hardworking Home Tour chairs Jennifer Miller, Rachel Koelzer, and Stefani Galvagni along with the entire committee, the many volunteers, and the homeowners for putting together a wonderful day for our community to enjoy. The day ended with a beautiful evening reception in the backyard of another amazing La Canada home, coordinated by Jamie Abrahamian and Sharon Anderson.  On behalf of the PTSA and the Home Tour Committee, we would like to thank all of the LCHS and 7/8 parents, La Canada community members, and friends and family members who sponsored, bought tickets and attended this cherished event.

This week is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. Thank you to our Hospitality chairs, Valerie Talbert, Natascha Gundersen, and Lynley Gross along with the Chinese Parents AssociationKorean American Parents Association, and the Armenian Parents Association for working hard to let our wonderful teachers and staff members know how much they’re appreciated by providing special breakfasts, lunches, and even the Handel’s Ice Cream Truck this week.

There is much more to look forward to this month.  Please read below for more information about what our students are doing and what is happening on campus.

I hope to see you at our final PTSA Meeting of the year on Thursday, May 16th in the Cafeteria.

Please reach out with any questions to ptapresident@lchsptsa.org.

With warm regards,
