President's Message

Dear Family,

Happy Last week of school Spartan Families!

This week we are thrilled to celebrate and honor our Senior Class Graduates on Thursday. Mr. Pasz, Mrs. Sarkissian, Ms. Nebor, and Ms. Tobin (and so many other staff members) have worked tirelessly to make this a memorable event!

Underclassmen, we wish you the BEST of luck as you embark on finals-YOU'VE GOT THIS!

A couple reminders:

*Textbook/Chromebook return (for all students). Please bring your textbooks and borrowed chromebooks and return to school by June 5th.

*If you purchased a yearbook, your student may pick it up Tuesday -Friday (times listed below).

I wish you all a FUN last week on campus for the year!

CONGRATULATIONS to our Class of 2025!!!!! I will be cheering and clapping for you all on Thursday! Wishing you all the best on the next steps of your journey and so proud of each of you! May you take the Spartan Spirit with you.

Graduation Lei Pick Up!

Leis will be ready for pick up on Wednesday, June 4th from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. We will have 2 car lines in the LCHS parking lot (adjacent to the office). We are unable to hold any leis after the distribution time, so please have someone pick them up for you if you are unable to make it.

Please keep your leis refrigerated to maintain freshness. Note that we will make every effort to provide your selected lei color, but please note that the vendor indicated a limited supply of white orchids so colors are not guaranteed.

If possible, please have a copy of your receipt on your phone. Senior students can pick up their leis right after graduation rehearsal.

The PTSA is Looking For a Newsletter Editor!

Our dedicated editor for the past four years, Emily DiPetrillo, has two graduating seniors and is moving on from LCHS PTSA. She's been newsletter editor for multiple PTAs as her children progressed through LCUSD and she'll be greatly missed. Thank you Emily for keeping us all informed!

If you would like to get involved with the PTSA, but can't be on campus, serving as our newsletter editor is a great opportunity. The newsletter is sent every two weeks with content provided by committee chairs. The newsletter editor compiles the information, organizes it in an existing online template, and sends it out to our LCHS community using our website platform. The time commitment is 2-3 hours per month.
