Thank you to Dr. Rachel Zooi, our LCHS Wellness Counselor, for presenting at the November LCHS PTSA meeting. Dr. Zooi explained how parents can use their understanding of the stages of change, and the application of motivational theory to recognize warning signs of overload, maximize empathy, minimize resistance, and help students use a decisional balance strategy when approaching their time. Click here to see her presentation and the two tools she suggested, the time wheel activity and time estimator scheduling worksheet.
