Senior Spotlight

Baccalaureate Evening - The Baccalaureate program for the 2023 graduating Seniors will be held on Wednesday, May 31, at 7:00 pm at St Bedes the Venerable Catholic Church. This is a very special part of La Canada's graduation celebrations, honoring the spiritual and character growth and development of our graduates as they prepare to leave our community. Speakers are selected from the graduating class representing each of the faith traditions in our community. The processional of graduates will mark the first time they will be wearing their caps and gowns, always a moving sight for families and friends. The 1-hour program includes remarks from Principal James Cartnal, an inspiring keynote speaker, and special music, with a reception following.  This event is open to ALL graduating high school seniors who live or attend school in La Canada, regardless of religious affiliation. Seniors should arrive by 6:30 pm dressed in cap and gown. For questions, please contact Christie Frandsen, 818-209-9821, christiefrandsen@gmail.com
