Senior Activities

It is time to start preparing for all the exciting end of the year celebrations for our Class of 2024 Seniors! Please make a note of all the opportunities and deadlines. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Rachel Chan Woodruff and Catherine Rayer. 

Grad bash

Seniors will be going to our traditional GRAD BASH at Universal Studios!  This will be a fun evening that all seniors graduating in 2024 will not want to miss! There will be dining, dancing, rides, attractions, shows and live entertainment. This is the LAST senior off campus outing this year and you'll not want to miss it!!

What: Grad Bash

When:  Friday, May 31st

Time: 4:15 pm to 2:00 am

Cost: $175 

What's Included: Round trip bus transportation from LCHS, entrance to the park, a meal voucher for $15.00 good at all food locations in the Park. 

Important Senior Events 

Graduation Ceremony - The graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 6 pm. Families should plan to arrive at Spartan Stadium between 5 pm to 5:30 pm, leaving time for parking challenges and the potentially extended walking time from parking in the area around LCHS. The ceremony will be approximately 1 hour in duration and will feature senior student graduation speakers, performances by our music program, and the presentation of the class. Students will go to the cafeteria following the ceremony to pick up their actual diploma, as what is given to them during the actual ceremony is the diploma cover. This means that post graduation dinner plans could potentially begin by about 8 pm or after. 

Note - The senior students are expected to arrive in their cap and gown at the North Gym by 4:45 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2024. 

Graduation Tickets - Each senior in the class of 2024 will be issued 4 tickets to graduation free of charge. These will be distributed to students in their English class on Monday, May 20, 2024. Each student will be able to purchase two additional tickets for graduation starting on May 20, 2024. Tickets will be on sale in the Administration Office at the desk of Mrs. Sarkissian. Tickets are $20.00 per ticket, payable in cash or check, with checks payable to LCHS. Students or parents may purchase these tickets.

Graduation Tickets Beyond the 6 Each Student Has Access To – With each graduating senior having access to 6 tickets, this will take us close to capacity in Spartan Stadium. LCHS staff understands that some family situations could be assisted by having access to additional tickets. Learning what this potential demand is will help LCHS Administration in determining whether the demand can be met. There is NO GUARANTEE that this request can be granted, but LCHS Administration will make as many seats available as we are able. Please complete this ticket interest form - click here.  Clearly, if each graduate hopes to have access to a large number of tickets beyond 6, this demand cannot be met. Additional tickets will be available for purchase, if they are made available, at $20.00 per ticket, purchased as indicated above.

Prom - Taking place at a venue that will be announced soon. Tickets go on sale online on 4/15 and in person starting on 4/16. Tickets will remain on sale through May 3, 2024. Prom is on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 7 pm.

Awards Ceremony - The Class of 2024 Awards Ceremony will be on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the North Gym at 6:30 pm. The ceremony is open to the public. 

Grad Bash at Universal Studios - Ticket sales were on sale through April 12, 2024. Grad Bash is on May 31th from 4pm to 1am at Universal Studios. 

Baccalaureate - We are delighted to announce that Interfaith Baccalaureate will return to St. Bede’s Catholic Church on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 6:30 pm. All graduates are welcome and come dressed in their cap and gown. 

Graduation Practice - Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 8:30 am. All graduating seniors are REQUIRED to attend graduation practice. The practice is anticipated to last approximately 75 minutes. Students should plan to attend the Graduation Brunch that follows at the private home of a member of the Class of 2024. Details are as follows:

Open to All Seniors

Senior Final Exams and Last Week of School - The last week of class attendance for seniors in the class of 2024 is the week of May 27, 2024. The bell schedule this week will show all periods meet on Tuesday for regular schedule, block day schedule on Wednesday (periods 1, 3, 5) and Thursday (periods 2, 4, 6), and assembly schedule on Friday, May 31, 2024. Monday, May 27 is Memorial Day and there is no school due to the Federal holiday. 

Caps and Gowns will be picked up on Friday, May 31, 2024 following the Senior Salute Assembly at approximately 11:15 am. Senior students who have not purchased a cap and gown will need to visit our Jostens representative, Mr. Kirk Mayer, on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 2-4:00 pm. Mr. Mayer will be located in the quad and will have caps and gowns for sale.
